History

Lamprini Papadaki Architects is an architecture and construction firm based in Athens, Greece. The practice, established by Manousis Papadakis, has been dealing with planning, design and construction since 1978 undertaking projects and delivering them finished with the “turn-key” design-built system. In 2001 architect Lamprini Papadaki headed the practice with a new fresh dynamic approach to architectural interventions driven by a deep interest in creating new forms through the treatment of space, materials and light towards the realization of a quality environment that enhances life. Today research, experimentation and teamwork with skilled people, have advanced the practice’s diversity and knowledge.

 

What we do

The office is practicing in all aspects of project realization from first draft to final documents, from drawing board to on-site supervision and construction. We offer design and construction services with emphasis on new technologies and energy-efficient applications. We work at all scales and in all sectors. From the scale of a large complex, to interiors and product design. Our projects include new buildings, interventions within existing structures, restoration of historic buildings, renovations, offices and workspaces, interior design, hotel rooms, health care units, stores, bars and restaurants, exhibitions, private houses, product design and Façade engineering. Our strength lies in our ability to create architecture which responds not only to the client’s needs but also to the surrounding context, culture and climate.

 

Our people

The office operates as an open design studio to promote sharing of new ideas and knowledge. It has established a permanent cooperation with architects, designers, engineers and thinkers thus a dynamic group of skilled people working together with one thing in common, the passion of delivering unique architectural structures. Construction field consists of simple workers, to technical personnel thoroughly qualified as well as a wide network of associates specialized in a state-of-art technologies and product suppliers. All our people are organized around specific projects and focused on the specialized needs and requirements of each project. Together with our clients, associates and suppliers we seek to develop and build for a sustainable future.
